my dad used to do a punky version of this song and a couple of Johnny Cash tunes like Fulsom Prison Blues. He's always been big on punky country stuff.

Cool. The first close up of him reminds me of the cover of Trust, one of his best, with Shot With His Own Gun, and Put Your Rings On Another Finger...the beginnings of his dual investigations into country and jazz , which he then, as you no doubt would already know, masterfully combined on Imperial Bedroom. Loved it. Thanks.

I think this was taken from the ITV show 'The Southbank Show' in 1981. I'm sure this song is Live in Aberdeen.
